Ed's Sounds
I make a shitty but also beautiful Minecraft resource pack to share with your extremely small group of friends
This will be Considered a Changelog for the files that I will be posting.
The general idea is that untill it says ".V1.0" it will have a large number of the sounds missing and will therefore be incomplete. These "missing sounds" will be replaced in your game by the default sounds.
Keep in mind that i'm stupid, and steali- borrowing the files and file layouts from the minecraft directory, but somehow it still says that it's an older version of minecraft, and, Quite frankly, I don't care enough to fix it. It works; that's what matters. Fixed as of V0.3.1
Changelog:
Latest at Top
V0.3.7
"Wow, I bet that it didn't take that long for this guy to finally get the next version out" SWEET MAMA
I have added strad music disk, but not really- it's actually not even that good but without it there is nothing noteworthy of this release. I also changed the existing songs to mono to reflect the typical music disks.
New Icons and Description, yay. I also updated the pack to work with 1.20.2... Yay.

V0.3.6
I've FINALLY figured out how to edit some of the text-based areas of this stuff. Pretty cool.
And of that text stuff, I have added different subtitles for endermen, and I have changed the name of Wait to MCHBG.
I changed the subtitles for endermen because now endermen are FUCKING MICROWAVES
I have also added a bunch of custom minecraft splash screens (These are the yellow texts below the word minecraft on the main menu.).

V0.3.5
I'm back bitch, after 6 fucking months.
Silverfish? Pretty annoying, right? Kids, Pretty annoying, right? Kaboom. Combine those bitches.
Ghast is completed. Angry Birds are nothing compared to these.

V0.3.4
Small Update-- I was just proud of my new music for what used to be "Ward"
Paranoid Sheep? paranoid sheep. we were gonna do something else, but the sheep only had like 4 sound files to work with, so we made do.
Bow twang noise. That's all.
As mentioned above, the record for the jukebox labled "Ward" is an epic song that I made. The record "Wait" is the music without the verbal audio. These are in stereo, but I don't remember if that actually does anything with jukeboxes (aka. if you walk away does it normally get quieter?)

V0.3.3
Ooga Booga! I need to slow down how much I ramp up the version numbers now that there are more sounds. This will begin starting now.
I'd like to preface this with I probably did something here, but I have forgotten it. I think that it is just that I added drowning noises but idk
I really Hated the thunder noise, so I went outside, and I recorded some thunder. It's ok, but not good. Better than slurp noises.
I Managed to get a friend of mine to record some noises for the horse, and quite frankly, it's beautiful. Not completed though (walking noises & co.).
I also managed to get a Friend to record Pillager noises. Except now they're Mormons. Magic underwear is included!
Me shall now be keepy dates of the releases. Compiled: 10/13/2019
V0.3.1
Holy fuck. I slacked the fuck off so it took forever for this update to come out, But that dosen't mean that I did little on it. Or maybe I did. You can be the judge of that.
Added the ghast "moans" but it's still not completed yet.
Fixed ALL of the soundfiles (excluding some ambient and menu noises) by making them into Mono so that Minecraft can understand them as 3d.
I Cried for hours on end after realizing that the pack that I was originally working on, 1.12, only had about 600 sounds for me to change, but now 1.14 has just a couple more at a comfortable 1,500.
Reduce package size by removing unnecicarry sound files. It is only about 50 MB now.
Added a few new songs that aren't that good, but'll get the job done. (and the rest of the cave noises)
fixed some noises that weren't loud enough
rain now exists
I updated the logo from that old and shitty fucking smiley face to something that a modern man can take pleasure to. do not misinterpret that please.
V0.2.6
Cloth, Ladder, Stone, and Wood walking sounds. there are other that will change in a sec.
"Changed" calm1. Its just a bad cover now, really.
Changed some of the ghast noises. not all. the walking sounds were a pain in the ass so this is a small release.
V0.2.1
Fixed the fire sound after realizing that it was sub-par.
NETHER PORTAL SOUNDS!! Very cool.
Finished zombie sounds
Filled in the chicken's sounds
Iron golem sounds
The pig noises are all placeholders; not at all finished.
IDK probably something else that I'm just not remembering.
V0.1.1
Changed all of the ambient cave sounds, but still cannot figure out how to change all of them? there must be some that I do not know what they are called. most of the cave sounds have been replaced at the very least.
Changed the thunder sounds, but not the rain sound
Changed the Fire noise, and the ignition noise.
Changed all damage sound effects. (Player being hit, big fall and small fall.)
Changed the menu music.
Changed all Villager noises.
Changed like 2 of the zombie noises
Bedrock?
I have made it so that the pack now (pretty much) works on minecraft bedrock. This means that you can hear my shitty sounds on anything from a nintendo switch to your ipod. Minecraft windows 10 too, though I'm not sure why you wouldn't just use java at that point.
A possibly incomplete list of issues with the Bedrock pack: Drowning noises are MIA, Different pack names, Bedrock is fundementally different so I am bound to have messed something up, all of the splash texts have single quotes '' instead of double quotes "" (again bedrock is dumb), and I could not figure out how to incorporate any of the enderman subtitles.
On the other hand, this minecraft pack has a bunch of new lines, as I really went full edge mode to re-write the loading screen tips, just because I felt like it. They're pretty cool and unexpected though. I messed with a few other smaller things, but I am dumb and forgot what they were the moment they were out of my immediate sight. It's also a big text document, so I would have difficulty re-finding it.
On a not-minecraft-related note, I changed up some of my download pages. Now they redirect. I know, It's cool. The bedrock version can be downloaded from the "Other" page. Alternatively just use the button below.

V????
Working on It. This update should be out """"""soon"""""".
Plans: Finish some more epic record tracks, finish horse, Stop slacking off, pig noises, maybe some of the water noises, more (normal) music, and change the noteblock noises.
